I am so happy with this!!!

Okay, so the picture doesn't do it justice!!! My favorite Dr.'s nurse called me Tuesday and asked me to come up with a creative bulletin board for their room and one for the hall for postcards! I have been thinking so much on this, I have turned an old screen door, an old window frame, and a piece of wood into a bulletin board but I wanted to do something else!!! I dreamed about it and this is what I came up with!! I got a large piece of canvas, and bulletin squares, and painted away. I tried to make it antique and old looking and it is FAB in person!! If you make an appt at my favorite Dr.'s office maybe you could see it in person! Each nurse has a side to pin their favorite photos!!! Let me know what you think!! I am going to do more of these, I plan on doing kid ones, cross ones, sport ones,all different sizes and colors, I'll keep you updated!!! This is large..

A Fun day with Mary Beth!

mary beth and I had went to Indianola today to showcase our art at the BB King Museum.. It was fun meeting everyone from Indianola and hanging out with Mary Beth. Here is a picture of our tent! Indianola was a great host!! Oh yea, I talked with Tanya Carter from the television station!! I can't wait to see how stupid I sound on the news!!

Our Special Teachers..

I painted this picture for Emma's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Emily.. Mrs. Emily was a great teacher this year.. She has made Emma Grace have a passion for reading... I really think Bayou Academy has the best teachers, truly! I will be giving Mrs. Emily her picture tomorrow as a thank you for teaching my child this year... Emma Grace loves Mrs. Emily.. Everyday she wakes up, she says something like, "I think Mrs. Emily is going to like my shirt, etc..." It is amazing how teachers influence and mold our kids.. Emma Grace looks up to Mrs. Emily.. and I am amazed at what she has taught my daughter this year! Thank you so much Mrs. Emily!!
This picture is for Matthew's teacher, Mrs. Cindy... Oh Boy, did she have a mission to accomplish this year.. She has taught Matthew so MuCH this year.. It is amazing!!! When Matthew first started her class he really didn't know much, ha, ha!!! Matthew knows his special sounds, colors, he can write his name, he has brought home 8 books this year.. I am truly amazed... Matthew loves school and I believe it is because he loves to go to Mrs. Cindy's room..Thank you Mrs. Cindy.. I hope you like this picture!!!

This picture is for Mrs. Beverly.. She is the 1st grade assistant.... She is so sweet and nice! Emma thinks Mrs. Beverly is the nicest teacher ever! I wanted to give her something special this year so I painted her this!Thank you so much Mrs. Beverly for joining our family at Bayou this year and teaching 1st grade... She will be moving up next year to assist the 2nd grade!! We just love Mrs. Beverly! She comes to us after teaching first grade for 30 years in public school.. She is truly amazing!!
