I have been painting a lot lately... but I have not taken any photos of my artwork... I did find these to share... This is in the lobby at cleveland medical mall! It is 3 large canvas' that make one picture..
also in medical mall...

I painted this for mary louise for Christmas... she wanted cream colors and words hidden in the art... It is 60x40 canvas.. It looks a lot better in person!

Anderson's daycare has a new look!

The Door to his room before... The daycare asked if I would be interested in painting there doors.. of course.. I spent Sunday afternoon locked in the daycare painting.. It looks really different now!
The door now to the bigger kids room... this is Emma's favorite door!!!

This was the hardest challenge I have had as an artist.. Justin Huerta, owner of the new Hey Joe's, wanted me to paint him Godzilla... okay maybe I can do that.. then he added, he wanted Godzilla playing drums, what... then I was finished he wanted buildings, people in the windows, and flames.. he didn't get the flames but he got Lazar eyes.. Stop by Hey Joe's when they open and check out Godzilla... I have some guitars also on display there!!

Mary Claire's Birds!!!

Kim and Rodney painted Mary Claire's room blue.. I love to paint birds and lucky for me, Kim loves blue birds... I love painting birds, but especially blue birds, because I have a special memory of my mom telling me blue birds bring good luck!!! So good luck Mary Claire!!!

I most say I am loving my ideas with the bulletin board!! This is for my favorite Dr. in the world- he wanted something to put his patients pictures on, but he didn't want a walmart bulletin board.. This is what he got! The canvas board is pretty big.. The tree trunk and leaves have cork so you can tack a picture on! I took it to him yesterday and hung it on the wall- he loved it!! Yea, Yea for me!!

This is for my friends new house, Celeste Brown!!! It is a great house built by my favorite school BA!!! ha, ha!! anyway I had a blast painting for her son and step-daughter!!! These pictures will be hanging in Marshall's bathroom!(notice the wash cloth on the ground)
This is Marshall's picture for his room! Celeste and I were inspired by Emma's favorite thing painted by my friend Sarah Largen.... I had his sheet and painted from that... It is a safari theme if you can't tell!!

At last, my favorite.. the family tree! At their new house, they have a pond with ducks!!! I loved this family tree!!! The picture doesn't do it justice!!

Okay, so the picture doesn't do it justice!!! My favorite Dr.'s nurse called me Tuesday and asked me to come up with a creative bulletin board for their room and one for the hall for postcards! I have been thinking so much on this, I have turned an old screen door, an old window frame, and a piece of wood into a bulletin board but I wanted to do something else!!! I dreamed about it and this is what I came up with!! I got a large piece of canvas, and bulletin squares, and painted away. I tried to make it antique and old looking and it is FAB in person!! If you make an appt at my favorite Dr.'s office maybe you could see it in person! Each nurse has a side to pin their favorite photos!!! Let me know what you think!! I am going to do more of these, I plan on doing kid ones, cross ones, sport ones,all different sizes and colors, I'll keep you updated!!! This is large..
This is 24x48! I would charge $85 for this!!! But other sizes will be different prices!

mary beth and I had went to Indianola today to showcase our art at the BB King Museum.. It was fun meeting everyone from Indianola and hanging out with Mary Beth. Here is a picture of our tent! Indianola was a great host!! Oh yea, I talked with Tanya Carter from the television station!! I can't wait to see how stupid I sound on the news!!

I painted this picture for Emma's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Emily.. Mrs. Emily was a great teacher this year.. She has made Emma Grace have a passion for reading... I really think Bayou Academy has the best teachers, truly! I will be giving Mrs. Emily her picture tomorrow as a thank you for teaching my child this year... Emma Grace loves Mrs. Emily.. Everyday she wakes up, she says something like, "I think Mrs. Emily is going to like my shirt, etc..." It is amazing how teachers influence and mold our kids.. Emma Grace looks up to Mrs. Emily.. and I am amazed at what she has taught my daughter this year! Thank you so much Mrs. Emily!!
This picture is for Matthew's teacher, Mrs. Cindy... Oh Boy, did she have a mission to accomplish this year.. She has taught Matthew so MuCH this year.. It is amazing!!! When Matthew first started her class he really didn't know much, ha, ha!!! Matthew knows his special sounds, colors, he can write his name, he has brought home 8 books this year.. I am truly amazed... Matthew loves school and I believe it is because he loves to go to Mrs. Cindy's room..Thank you Mrs. Cindy.. I hope you like this picture!!!

This picture is for Mrs. Beverly.. She is the 1st grade assistant.... She is so sweet and nice! Emma thinks Mrs. Beverly is the nicest teacher ever! I wanted to give her something special this year so I painted her this!Thank you so much Mrs. Beverly for joining our family at Bayou this year and teaching 1st grade... She will be moving up next year to assist the 2nd grade!! We just love Mrs. Beverly! She comes to us after teaching first grade for 30 years in public school.. She is truly amazing!!

Here is the booth... The weather held off.. It started raining when I pulled into my driveway! I sold around 7 pieces of artwork.. It was a good day!

We spent most of the day today framing, pricing, naming, and attaching wire to the back of some artwork for crosstie!! My kids helped me name the pieces.. They were having fun coming up with the names... Ryan said I should have named my art.. "Family Affair" I hope Crosstie goes okay.. We sure are spending a lot of time on this artwork!!

I think I am going to try to paint most of these frames, we'll see!!!

I love my first guitar to paint!! I got a big compliment and I'm smiling from ear to ear... this will be hanging in our favorite cousin dr.'s office!! Yes, Dr. Mike Montesi will be hanging this in his office!! It makes me feel so honored... His wife saw it and emailed me about putting it in his office.. I feel like I will be famous soon!!! Ha, Ha.. It really is a huge compliment to me! Thank you Montesi Family! Love you!!! Can't wait to see it up- since it seems like I visit the office once a week with someone in my family!!

Bright Beginnings Art Show

The Bright Beginnings Art Show was this past Thursday... You could enter 10 pieces, and I did! I sold 7 out of 10.. Not to bad.. Bright Beginnings gets a percentage of the sale and I get a percentage.. The pieces couldn't be larger than 12x12! Here is what it looked like on display! Hope you enjoy...
